This is an eulogy from the book Night that we currently finished reading in Mr Littles class.
He was my hero,my soul ,my heart,my guide, he was my dad.I never had a close relationship with him because he was always busy and dint have time for his family but the Holocaust completely changed my perspective of him. While in the Holocaust I saw how great of a man he was. He was the only reason that I keeped going and if it wasn't for with I wouldn't be her talking of how great and awesome he was. I confess right know that there was many times were I felt like abandoning him but inside I felt ashamed of even thinking of such inhumanity towards my own blood. There was many times were i saw my dad getting beaten up by the SS men in the barracks and even when marching but i couldn't risk my life and try to save him all I could do was watch and pray that he would come out alive. My dad was the grates father any kid could ask for and I am thankful with God for letting me know that and I thank all of you who came to this remembrance of my hero, my soul, my heart, my guide, my dad.
